Tzaryd plummeted through the tree branches to land amidst the throng of combatants. Without a word he placed his back to that of the tall warrior of the first tribe and plied about him with his large knife. The belligerence of the second tribe froze for half a moment, startled by the new comer. A couple in the rear almost turned and fled at this new development. Their leader called out to his warriors, however, and the assault was pressed anew.
