'Awakening' is a novel about a young girl Zawaria who lives in New York City with her family. For Zawaria, life is all about fun. She believes in freedom, and, is living her life to the fullest, never worrying about the future. Then, everything she ever believed in, comes to a question, when her twin sister dies in a car accident. Zawaria is in chaos and is desperately searching for the true meaning of her life. Will she be able to quench this thirst that is carrying her around, like a wandering dervish, looking for peace?
