The Empire

When, about a century before, the Empire was born, the initial intent was to create an interplanetary confederation which could unite various systems and all the species that inhabited the sector, granting the title of Emperor in rotation to each system every ten years, but with a Council of thirteen elements that included the representatives of all the other systems. Things turned out differently and now the Chief Councilor is heading for absolute power. Maybe someone can stop her, but how? Follow this Galactic Empire scifi romance to find out!



The doctor

Dr. Taylor Black has always been the typical good guy: diligent and studious, he's always put his duties first. He graduated at Medicine School, married his college sweetheart and worked hard as MD and researcher. His bright intelligence, his deep interest in the brain and his propensity to hard work led him to some very interesting results. He may have found out actual possibility of localizing the mind as well as the soul, and physically reinserting them into the brain once its features have been lost due to trauma. After the worst thing he could imagine happened to him, he devoted himself to his research even more. Black starts working on the Empire's flagship, the Amazonas, where he keeps looking for the formula which will let him restore people's mind. But he won't make it by himself.

The captain

Handsome, fascinating, powerful: nobody can resist Ed Wakeman. He's in charge of the biggest starship of the Empire, and he doesn't hesitate to use it to lead violent attacks towards the Enemy, invisible and mean creatures who, apparently, like to make people suffer. His charm allows him to captivate everyone, men and women alike: as a matter of fact, he always gets what he wants. Only three people don't allow him to fool them: his ex-wife, now Chief Councilor, his first officer Nakal Chaoi'hi and Taylor Black.
