A COURSE IN MIRACLES is intended to help you improve your thinking and brighten your life by learning to get in step with your true Self. It will give your life a higher purpose and improve your relationships by easing your grievances, healing your mind in such a way that can improve your physical health as well. However, none of this happens overnight; it takes time, but it is the best possible use of your time. The purpose of this book is to clarify the content of the Course so you will have minimal difficulty in understanding what it is saying. This will make the Course a fun read, rather than a frustrating struggle for understanding. Years ago, Ray transferred all of his handwritten Course notes to an eXcel spreadsheet, and that enabled him to see the Course's big picture. It amazed him at how well written, comprehensive, and cohesive the Course is; and he saw that every chapter, and every lesson presents one or more themes from a group of recognizable themes. Ray used those themes for the chapter titles in his book. He also saw that the Course answers the three basic questions about our existence: Where did I come from?
