Bondage means the state of being enslaved or being a prisoner. It means being hindered of movement or progress. It means holding one back from reaching their full potential. This is the state the children of Israel were, back in bible days, in the land of Egypt. There is a Canaan waiting for you, but to get there, you have got to get up and leave Egypt.
