In modern world computer vision has become an important field. In computer vision we acquire, process and analyse images to produce information. Images can be taken from video sequences, multiple cameras. It has many applications in medical and automation industry. The purpose of this Book is to duplicate the abilities of human vision to understand the image. However no system can be compare with enormous capabilities of human. This Book is useful for security purpose and facilitates security guard. This system alerts the guard when an intruder enters the sensitive area i.e. area under observation. It also tracks the intruder by creating bounding box around the surroundings of intruder. The main components in this books are (1) Computer System (2) MATLAB Software (Software programming is done in MATLAB.)(3) GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications).
