He appears at The Core, a hard rock hot spot in Michigan that will soon close because its well ran dry due to a bottled water plant operating nearby. From there, Isaiah's travels take him across the nation and through signs of shortage and drought. Among the many he meets along the way is Jesse, a Native American who sets up camp near the bottled water plant in protest. Amid a series of unlikely encounters, an epic concert is planned in field beside the water plant. Beau, a college football player who would rather grow marijuana, finds the key to mapping the delicate and complex aquifer below the ground. He and his friends, the Seekers, join forces with Isaiah and Jesse to stage a rock'n'roll festival that could change the world.
