Liberation is a collection of a variety of style poems written over the last 20 or so years. The poems reflect my experience as a first generation Californian 415'er born in the golden years of the 70's growing up fast through the 80's and 90's while at the same time Hiphop was still developing and gang and street violence were almost celebrated and praised. I present to you this piece of my life and experience and hope it brings something good to your life. The name of the book liberation is dedicated to my mother. Life was challenging and never a smooth ride and I remember my mother and I looking at eachother saying its time for liberation. We would say this for many years until it became the main objective spiritually, mentally and physically. Liberation represents the resilience of love and how no matter what life throws at you, the power of love will help you through. One love and the most respect.
