Never Forgotten Cheri M Hines

As many people will experience at least once in their lives, grief is a quick acquaintance and slow to part. WIthin this work, I attempt to convey the experiences of grief my family and myself have felt over the years following the loss of my late mother, Latoya. Through putting their feelings into poetry, I was able to clarify my own emotions and confusion about how I have grieved my mother's death. My hope is that through hearing and reading of how my family has lived with our grief, people will also be able to better understand their own grievances.
