The world is on the verge of a global energy crisis. The world's oil supply is running low, and war is looming over the remaining limited resources. Two scientists have developed a revolutionary new energy source capable of averting the crisis and providing power to everyone in the world at minimal cost. But dark forces are at work behind the scenes to gain control of the invention, and soon one scientist is found dead, while the other scientist and the device have gone missing. Rookie FBI Agent Kate Cassidy, an old friend of the missing scientist, is recruited to the team of a legendary bureau agent to help track down the device and the missing scientist before the world devolves into economic and social collapse.
