Black women have so much in common, and their stories and testimonies need to be told and passed down to the younger generations. Not only do Black women and girls need to hear what each other has to say, but Black men and boys also need to understand the Black Experience from the perspectives of the Black woman. I believe that all races should take the time to read this book and listen to hearts as they speak the worth of Black women and girls' words. We can all benefit from learning about each other. However, my goal is to be a part of the efforts to spark a movement in Black women and girls' minds about the need to be more loving and supportive of one another.
