Richard is a straight construction worker who's recently discovered, he's not as straight as he thought he was. He's a working man with a family: ex-wife, two boys, and a physical job. Not unlike so many men out there. Then the predatory cop next door did something to him in his basement, more than once, and suddenly Richard was not so basic anymore. Suddenly his life was getting complicated. He isn't sure he's ready for it. But now that he'd had a taste, he wanted more. He had a need that could only be met in one way. Well, several ways actually, but it still boiled down to just one thing. He needed men. This was a need he'd never really considered. That dirty cop had shown him things, done things, and now he was changing, he was evolving. And he just can't seem to say no. He and his wife are trying to patch things up, they've got a new house, but she's keeping her condo in the city and they're letting the boys live in the old house while they go to school. Richard finds himself feeling out of place where ever he is, but one thing he knows for sure: he's always ready and willing. He knows he's a little out of control, but maybe he's just making up for lost time. But he keeps pushing the envelope. He keeps crossing the line. Pretty soon there won't even be a line. He's fighting this new need. He wants his old, boring, simple life back. At least that's what he keeps telling himself. But it's not that easy. The world is different. He's different. He's just a man. Under construction.
