In an atmosphere far away in time and space, a committee of beings endowed with almost unlimited powers (even to change the universal gravitation constant) discuss how to pilot the evolution of a living species according to their plans. But as the project develops, some of them plot to ensure that the violence of the original plan is replaced by the harmony of an alternative plan.
