At one time I was nearly 550 pounds. As my life was spinning out of control, I trudged through heartache, childhood trauma and extreme health challenges. Most people take small things for granted - being able to bend down to tie their shoes; or walking and breathing at the same time. I was a man who yearned to do these things. The devil played a tug of war with my soul for over 20 years. A nasty web of lies was spun around me and it seduced my brain into believing I was better off dead. Between these pages is the story of one man who conquered his obesity mindset and became an overcomer. This is the story of who I was, and how I became the man am now.
