A collection of Poems
Olga Waugh
Olga Waugh 1916 - 2003 This is a collection of poems written over the course of her lifetime, published for the very first time. In common with most people of her generation, her life was scarred by her personal experiences of the Second World War. In addition her writings underscore the potential nightmare of the 1960s cold war years. Her career as a community pharmacist is reflected in her thoughts about the early days of the National Health Service and the widespread use of prescription drugs. Above all she always had a deep interest in politics and in the world at large. The sentiments expressed in her poems are as relevant today as they were when she put pen to paper.
