Many times we do things of which we are not convinced, just to be appreciated by others. This is how we learn to obey, and it is good because our parents are trying to do their best for us. But what happens if in doing so, we lose the habit of trusting ourselves, and we allow others to guide us on a path that is not our own? Perhaps a bright and beautiful path but still, not ours? Used to obeying, we dare not admit that we would like a different path. And as a result, we find ourselves unhappy. And, often, mediocre, because it's so hard to excel in something we are not interested into. What if those who truly love us would prefer us to be happy than to be perfect, even if it turns out that we are not precisely programmed as they imagined?This picture book was inspired by the saga of King Arthur and the Round Table's knights.
