The consequence of the 2020 Presidential Election is a "Long Dark Winter." These words were spoken by candidate Joe Biden in a different context, but nevertheless was a harbinger of what would come if he had been declared the "Winner." 2020 was a turning point for America. We surrendered many of our God-given Freedoms and Constitutional Rights in the first months of the COVID-19 pandemic. Without a shot being fired, Americans accepted being ordered to "shelter in place," that is, submit to house arrest. And we were not under charge for any crime or diagnosed as being sick. That is a violation of the Constitution. We were ordered NOT to attend church. That was also a direct violation of the Constitution, as the First Amendment guarantees every citizen that the government "shall make no law" that "prohibits the free exercise" of our religion. Yet like sheep we followed the dictates of the government, that lacked the Constitutional authority to issue such edicts. And barely a word was spoken in opposition, especially by our Constitutional branches of government and the news media. And now, we reap the whirlwind. "Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left." Isaiah 24:6 Election 2020 and its aftermath are a convergence of the Constitution, the Gospel, our culture, and the world. That is the subject matter of "The Long Dark Winter" ... and a stark warning to us all! ------------------------------------ Judge Hal Moroz is a retired U. S. He was a candidate for Justice on the Supreme Court of Georgia on the June 9th, 2020 Election, which was also the Presidential Primary Election in the Great State of Georgia. Although he lost his race, Judge Moroz garnered 446,026 votes from across the state and brought national attention to the problems facing our modern judiciary.
