There is in every person a higher-man, a spark of the Eternal, with infinite power to draw to itself whatever it conceives to be necessary for its highest good and to fulfill its grand purpose in life. We are at all times, master of our fate. Give your higher-man a purpose worthy of its efforts. He will not stay where he is not wanted. He will lead you to the best in life, but he will not compel you to follow. He will not shout at you, or insist on your compliance. His voice is soft and you must be attentive to hear him whispering guidance to you soul. If you resist his guidance, he will withdraw to wait until you recognize your need of him, and again call him forth. Nothing can come into your kingdom except from you or through you. If it comes from outside you, it is not yours and has no power over you until you claim it and accept it as your own. If you do not want it, refuse to accept it, do not take hold of it mentally or emotionally-give it no place in your kingdom. Your desires entrusted to your higher-man are being acted upon by the Laws of the Cosmos. With this new mind you consciously guide your life, arranging and rearranging events and circumstances to create an environment worthy of this new person.
