The Westford City Bank Robbery Richa Kumar

Set in the 1970s, The Westford City Bank Robbery is a typical 'who done it' mystery that is written in a steady pace to enhance the drama. With suspicion falling on many characters and a hidden sub plot revealing itself in the second half of the book, readers will set out on a journey full of suspense and intrigue with the charming and clever Private Investigator Hansel Webley to catch the mastermind behind the robbery.

PI Hansel Webley was sitting one afternoon reading the newspaper when he receives a phone call from an utterly terrified Larry MacAvoy, the Manager of Westford City Bank, who informs him of the grand robbery that just took place! MacAvoy is the prime suspect, but he swears of his innocence and pleads Webley to find the one who framed him before it's too late.

Hansel Webley against the wishes of Inspector David Hodgson sets out to find the real culprit behind it all, while meddling with the police matters, much to Hodgson's annoyance. After talking to the witnesses, Webley is convinced, more than ever, in MacAvoy's innocence. As the investigation progresses, a new suspect surfaces. An interesting subplot unfolds when another little theft is revealed, that took place while the robbery was in progress and a Russian man comes into the picture.

Now Webley has to not only solve the mystery of the bank robbery but also the theft of a very precious article that was taken away from the crime scene.

Will Hansel Webley be able to untangle the web of suspense and get on top of the plot that is thickening by the minute or will an innocent man pay for the crime he never committed?

Readers will enjoy this compelling page turner whose plot twists will prove to be engaging.
