This is well written and interesting read. Not only are the recipes amazing, but the author has written stories throughout the cookbook about different family events relating to the recipes and they are hilarious.

Sharing her mother's food and her memories of preparing and serving those recipes with others, gave the author purpose and helped her see that even in loss, great joy is still all around us. The recipes she shares are pure comfort food! She honors her mother's love of sweets first, and foremost, but she covers all the most important meals. The recipes are clear and easy to understand and follow, and they make warm, tasty, loving food that are especially good for sharing with the people you love and like.
