The story tells about a man in life and he wants to leave society. He wonders, in earnest, if he would be better off without the norms and mores of society. Living on the river or in a cave, he ponders such questions. He also wonders if he would be missed by society.

Drawn into the wilderness of Southern Missouri, a man slowly slips away from society.

"I don't care anymore, am tired of the game, if they can't accept who I really am then we do not need to be together. If they expect me to wait until they break up with their boyfriends, they can jump off a cliff. I have become omniscient with female thinking, and let me tell you there is nothing more devious or evil."
