As little girls, we are ALL born into a princess realm. We come from our Queen Mother and our King Father. But how can a princess become a Queen if she never knows nor feels like she is in this world? She may have the great qualities of her mother to guide her along the way of LIFFE. She may even survive emotionally and spiritually to lead her to her true self worth. But without her father's gifts, she may get lost and begin to struggle. For me it has been a long journey and fight along with struggles. I have been emotionally, spiritually and physically worn out, to pieces. I asked myself a trillion times... Why? What happened? I even tried asking my father but could no get answers. I didn't realize that he was hurt also. But in my anger of what I thought was once again rejection, began to write my feelings down. Like lightening striking its hot jolt, my pen was the sword that led me here. We are already facing a world of lost fathers, especially in the black community, and in turn they have had no real King Father at their side to guide them. This is a cycle that continues on to the next generation simply because, no one remembers their worth and the value of their family. It has been torn apart since slavery. Diluted with the intentional purposes for someone els's gain. We can STOP this cycle of functional dysfunction by giving your, King Father, daughters the gifts of your LOVE.
