How can you define madness in an insane world?

Hux Moloch has stopped caring about simple things like morality. Upon abandoning his life for the nearby desert after finding out a terrible family secret, he is taunted by a man on a desolate road who also is trying to escape his situation whom he kills in a gruesome manner while possessed by rage.

This would be it if not for the fact that the murdered man was an important member of the city's corrupt underbelly which manipulates people's perception of reality to their advantage. For his crime, mercenary werewolves, tasked with his execution, are sent after him and a vicious game of kill or be killed begins. Unlike most, he is intrigued by this invite to roll over and die.

To most, he appears to be completely harmless, almost an eyesore. So, while hunted, Hux Moloch sheds his humble skin, becoming the monster that will set the entire city on fire, insert nothing but entropy and chaos among the ruling elite and, just for laughs, he also targets the whole world, spreading mayhem and carnage on both the innocent and guilty. Why not? No one is safe, not even the protagonist who defies the unknown forces of the universe as well as his enemies to destroy him if they can. I mean, what else is he going to do? Find a constructive hobby?

No. For him, there's only darkness, no hope, no need for salvation nor a willingness to be cured. Although young, he somehow concluded that the only way to live in this world is to live Beyond the Edge of Reason and this dangerous mindset is what sets him free from fear, becoming a greater monster than those who wish for his death. By the end, it is clear that the Apocalypse isn't nigh - it has always been here, waiting for a little push and Hux Moloch is here to deliver with a sinister eagerness and grin that can no longer be classified as human.
