Soul Food for Sundays Cornelius Uche Okeke

Written in simple and everyday language, these reflections move the mind to contemplate and take a second look at one's life in relationship with God, with oneself and with others. They awaken the heart to love of God, of self and of neighbor. For those who desire to deepen their knowledge of and relationship with God, these reflections come in handy. Filled with nuggets of wisdom and insight, one's everyday tendency to live at the surface level of existence is challenged. The reflections call on one to open oneself to the deep yearnings of the heart for love and relationship which because of previous hurts and self-defense one tends to avoid. They broaden one's perspective on life and initiate one into the journey inwards. Each reflection is short, simple and insightful. Their captivating titles make them all the more striking. Indeed, the collection provides an amazing soul food for life drawn from the readings of the Sunday liturgy.
