The book is divided into three parts. The first part of this course deals with the organizational characteristics of cooperatives. Steps to organize new cooperatives have been explained in detail. The second part deals with the promotional roles provided by various agencies like federal and regional bureaus, government and non-governmental agencies and international agencies. Part third explains the scope for organizing cooperatives. Mobilization of funds within the cooperative structure and funds outside the cooperative structure are dealt in detail. Need for organizing federations, scope for organizing various types of cooperatives, and creation of forward and backward linkages and is also included in this part.
