The Novel begins in Mumbai with Aadi Kohli, a rowdy artist coordinator in police lock-up for the murder of Richa Singh - the heroine of a latest hit Bollywood film. The film's producer Asim Mallick, a charming and affluent young man sets off to Goa to celebrate the film's success. In Goa, Asim is poisoned with an unknown lethal toxin and there is no known antidote for it. Asim is now forced to track down the individual responsible for this and clues lead him back to Mumbai to Bibhutibhushan Nag. Bibhuti is an old fashioned struggling script writer in Bollywood. He has the antidote but he is unwilling to give up the solution to Asim but Asim is determined. Now, Bibhuti is forced to rescue himself by carrying out his evil plot, bringing chaos and changing Asim's way of life forever.
