Studies on Transition metal complexes Stereochemistry, Spectral and Magnetic Properties of CompoundsThe present work deals with the study of metal complexes of the Schiff base ligands derived from carbonyl oximes with Fe (II). It is therefore pertinent to discuss briefly the stereochemistry, spectral and magnetic properties of these metals in their common oxidation states with emphasis on 2+ oxidation state.
