This manuscript discusses project management in depth, beginning from defining basic project management terminologies. Topics included are based on the project management body of knowledgewhich encompasses the knowledge area required to facilitate project management and also project life cycle. A project is a set of activities and procedures executed to attain a specific goal, even though each project is unique in its own right, all projects go through initiation, planning, execution/implementation, monitoring/ controlling and closing phases. The successful completion of any project depends on an understanding of each phase and delivering what is expected. This document provides a guide for a better understanding of the process of project management referencing previously available knowledge.
