This book elaborates about the prying force in bolted connection which is one of the important considerations in the design of connection. It discussed about the previous researches and codes and standards of different countries. The finite element analysis has been carried out for different bolt grades with different ultimate capacity and the results are validated with codal provisions. The illustration has shown the variation of prying force in normal and high strength bolts in a T-stub connection.
