The little seagull Luca grows up safe in his flock of seagulls. After a painful encounter with an angry fish, Luca decides not to eat anything that looks at him. He then is excluded from the flock because of this. Luca now lives alone on a small rocky island. Only now does Luca discover how exciting life can be. Luca's life becomes more and more exciting, and he makes many new friends.
