The Internet of Things is an integrated part of the Future Internet and could be defined as a dynamic global network infrastructure. This network has self-configuring capabilities based on standard and interoperable communication protocols where all things of this network are seamlessly integrated into a global network. Since different things have different levels of mobility, heterogeneity and connectivity, each also requires a specific set of features and relevance on the network. Based on this, a new kind of classification and a completely new mechanism is proposed that enhances research in this future network. The future is here and the future is now.
