Improving Listening Comprehension: a Strategy-based Approach Amirhossein Rahimi

The current study emphasizes the significant role of strategy instruction in language teaching and learning context. It specifically focuses on teaching metacognitive strategies and their effectiveness on listening comprehension of EFL learners. The interrelationship of motivation, metacognitive strategy use, and listening performance is also investigated and pedagogical implications are suggested.
