Child streetism, as a social problem in Addis Ababa, has been recognized by the government since 1974. Then onwards, the magnitude of the problem continuously growing. Various interventions have been taken to address the problem of child streetism. The major actors involved in such interventions are governmental, non-governmental, faith based and community based organizations.
