Prisms investigate the nature of music creation in our modern cyber electronic age and the complex relation between sound, technology, and music. Inspired from the writings of cybernetic composer Herbert Brün, electronic art historian Frank Popper, and Brazilian influential music educator Hans-Joachim Koellreutter, Prisms invites the reader to navigate a narrative labyrinth, interact, and deduce a conclusion. The selected musical compositions presented here follow extensive analysis, each in different terms: music and electronics, hardware or computation, and in what they speculate between freedom and system.
