Neighbourhood Redevelopment: the Choice Between Redevelopment Instruments C a T Van Luik

In this research the focus is on the redevelopment of neighbourhoods in Dutch cities, and especially on the choice between instruments that can be used for the redevelopment. In order to get an answer on this question first the reasons for neighbourhood redevelopment will be discussed. After that attention will be paid on the various redevelopment instruments that are available. Finally this study makes clear that there are different factors that have an influence on the decision which instrument to use. The model with the various factors created is tested on the redevelopment of the neighbourhood Oud-Krispijn, part of the Dutch city of Dordrecht.
