This book presents a new approach to Relational Database Access using Natural Language. The method exploits concepts from ontological engineering for data extraction and presentation as well as Chomsky's linguistic theories of Transformational-Generative Grammar. The approach was tested on various languages and domains and was shown to be both Language and domain independent. The method is robust in handling user inputs.
