Three Dimensional Molecular Structure of N-(4-methoxy-phenyl)formamide Bharat Patel

Formamide belongs to well-known member of antimicrobial amide family. The title compound, N?(4?Methoxy?phenyl)-Formamide, C8H9NO2 belonging to formamide family, has been studied by method of X-ray crystallography and crystallizes in orthorhombic space group Pna21 with Z=4. The crystal structure is stabilized by Supramolecular N-H?O, C-H?O and Pi-Pi interactions. The ORTEP diagram of N?(4?Methoxy?phenyl)?Formamide showing 50% probability displacement ellipsoids with numbering scheme is shown in this book.
