E-learning Application Imad Mohammed

In this work, an e-learning application is developed that provides many services which are training courses, online assessment, e-library, chat and news. These services are developed to reduce the cost of education, make it available to a wide range of students, and to increase the interaction between the teacher and the students. This application is designed as a web site with ASP.net under C# and Structured Query Language (SQL) server as programming tools. The application makes a student takes a training course, tests his knowledge and sees the results directly without need to wait. This provides faster and accurate results, paperless environment and makes learning at anytime, anywhere. One of the important challenges that facing the application is the interest of the students in it, also the availability of technology equipment could restrict using it. This work contributes in the transformation efforts in the online appearance of Iraqi universities from the informational to the interactive type of e-services.
