During last seventy years, an impressive amount of flavoproteins has been characterised and many details about their catalytic and structural features have been determined. Flavoproteins found their assertion in biotechnology and diagnostics. This book providing a complex view on these proteins is focused on the structure of flavoproteins, mechanism of their action, kinds of their classification into several groups and description of their functions.
