This book addresses communication dynamics as they exist within the college classroom. It draws from the expertise reflected in Dr. Jim Schnell?s 35 years of college teaching. He completed his Ph. D. at Ohio University and has 15 books in print, over 65 book chapters & journal articles and over 130 conference presentations that address the nexus of culture & communication. Schnell is a Professor in the Division of Social & Behavioral Sciences at Ohio Dominican University. He has held teaching posts at the University of Cincinnati, Beijing Jiaotong University, Ohio State University, Royal University of Phnom Penh, Joint Special Operations University, Miami University and Ohio University. He is a Fulbright Scholar and completed three visiting fellowships at the East-West Center (Honolulu). Schnell retired from the USAFR, at the rank of Colonel, after 30 years in the military intelligence community. His final 14 years were as an Assistant Air Attache in China.
