Currently, there is scarce research and practical handbooks on spiritual interventions for individuals living with Conversion Disorder. Research conducted at Duncan Hospital found results which indicated that ongoing family and marital strife was significantly related to conversion disorder. As well, research found that individuals with Conversion Disorder seemed to experience depression-like symptoms. The findings indicate a lack of conflict resolution skills to deal with the stress of the conflicts. In fact, the results indicate that religious faith plays a significant role in maintaining well-being and encouraging resilience. This ready to use manual offers practical strategies and interventions for Conversion Disorders using a holistic approach to mental health and well-being.
