Ain Shams University , Cairo, Egypt adopts the implementation of the project "Education for Sustainable Development", which aims to: - Correct the concept of sustainable development, which is always accompanied by the concept of environmental protection only to be including society and economy as well as environment dimensions. - Draw lessons from past experiences of countries that developed programs and activities in the field of education for sustainable development. - Share good practices in the field of education for sustainable development between the Egyptian universities and the world. - Cooperate with the media, which is an essential tool to raise awareness and promote a culture of sustainable development. Through the implementation of this project Ain Shams University promotes a culture of education for sustainable development and we are honored to offer the first output of the project, which is this training manual.
