Results obtained are simple, precise and accurate signifying well quality fingerprint profile of various phytoconsituents as a biomarker obtained from nature. Luteolin is a flavonoid, mostly belongs to class of bioflavonoids and shows antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-tumor properties. It is found in high amounts in parsley, thyme, peppermint, basil herb, celery and artichoke. It is a well documented biomarker of Elliptica elba.
