This book is a must for any academician in the field of teaching and learning methods (pedagogy) in order to enhance academic achievement. The teaching methods discussed in this book can be applied not only to economics but to other subjects especially those subjects that have calculations. The write up was engineered by the poor performance of students in economics as a subject due to bad teaching methods.however,it was discovered that the problem- based learning approach is relevant to enhance academic achievement because it involves different steps to be taken by learners. In fact, it is a practical approach to action research paradigm which is learners'centered. This approach allows the teacher to be a supervisor or a coach while learners are very active. above all, problem-based learning method is the key to academic achievement.
