In many empirical studies optical motion capturing systems have been used for the kinematic analysis of multi-body systems and motion analysis in competitive sports. The 3D marker coordinates have been calculated from image coordinates of the camera views. Other techniques also employed in the field of motion analysis like ultrasonic, inertial sensor, magnetic field sensors, etc. This book aimed to provide details in instrumental techniques in human motion analysis.
