Demand for remote medical translation and interpretation services increased during the COVID-19 outbreak. Non-English speakers, and immigrants are left without lifesaving information because there are not enough interpreters to help them during this crisis. In some countries, like the US, language services are a right to all limited English speakers. However, in most countries around the world the burden of understanding vital medical information falls upon the patient. There is a real opportunity for bilingual speakers to help with language. These roleplays offer practical feedback and hands on practice to explore an interpretation career.
