Sometimes we need someone to simply be there. Someone who will just listen and hear our heart and let us know we are not alone. As a pastor's wife for over 60 years, I have written "No Pretending" to come alongside pastor's wives and others, to let them know they are not alone. I have been disappointed with God, betrayed by close friends and confused with the ways of God. Eventually pain gets stamped on all of our passports. God has a good purpose in allowing such difficulties in our lives. He delights to make beauty out of ashes. Jesus is with us. He will never fail us. Count on it.
