Vero Lemay has played many roles in life-a dedicated mother, wife, plant-based enthusiast, and author. Her toughest role occurred in 2017 after 23 years working as an elementary school teacher, she received an unexpected call from cancer. Vero faced a
choice: she could ignore it, give up on life, and wait for death, or, she could find the strength to hear the message, face her fears, and do whatever was necessary to defy the odds ... even if it meant leaving behind the life she knew and moving to another country.

By sharing her healing journey of acceptance, resilience, and self-love, Vero hopes to inspire others to take "response-ability" for their
health and thrive in the face of cancer.
