After spending 8 years in Australia, it was time to come back home to Canada. But rather than flying back, I used my legs to pedal 27000 kilometres over 19 months. In this first novel, I recount my journey from Cairns to Paris, experienced loneliness on Australian outback roads, fighting dreadful road conditions and steep hills in Laos and China, discovered the beauty of Central Asia and lived the legendary Iranian hospitality.
