Frankho ChessDoku(TM) puzzles were invented by Mr. Frank Ho, a Canadian math teacher and the founder of Ho Math Chess Tutor Franchise Learning Centre. The puzzles included in this workbook were jointly created by Frank Ho and Amanda Ho.

The gameplay is an excellent way to inspire children's interest in learning math, and chess has proven to be effective as a learning tool. Frankho ChessDoku(TM) is a collection of a special kind of math puzzles that are solved by using addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, or number factoring by following chess moves, logic, and backwards thinking strategy. Frankho ChessDoku(TM) is a one-of-a-kind puzzle that can help children improve their computing, logic, and chess abilities all in one workbook and at the same time.

Since most children like puzzles and games, so for children working on Frankho ChessDoku(TM) is a good alternative for them to learn math computation skills, whether they are interested in playing chess or not.
